Passing target: 75% (30/40)
You wait at a stop sign to turn onto a main road. A motorcycle comes toward you on the main road with its right turn signal flashing. What should you do?
A waits at a stop sign on the side street. Motorcycle B approaches the junction on the main road. A card states that B’s right turn signal is flashing; B is still shown pointing straight.
Correct answer: Wait until the motorcycle clearly slows and starts to turn before you pull out.
Why
Many motorcycle signals do not switch off by themselves, and a rider may forget one after a lane change. The same is true for any driver who plans to turn after passing you or forgot to cancel a signal. Motorcycles are small and hard to judge, so give them a large gap.
