Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
You plan to turn right into a narrow street. At the corner, a red sign with a white bar and the words DO NOT ENTER faces you. What should you do?

Correct answer: Do not turn in, and use another street to reach the same place.
Why
The DO NOT ENTER sign and the WRONG WAY sign are used together. The DO NOT ENTER sign stands where a one-way street or ramp begins, to keep drivers from entering against traffic. If a driver enters by mistake, WRONG WAY signs farther along give a second warning. The danger is a head-on crash, so take special care at highway ramps, where exit ramps carry these signs.
