Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
On a dry, clear, straight road with light traffic, you pass a white SPEED LIMIT 35 sign. Other cars pass you at about 40 mph. Which statement about your speed is correct?

Correct answer: You may not drive faster than 35 mph, even when other cars go faster.
Why
Pennsylvania speed limits are maximums for ideal conditions. Keep with the flow of traffic when you can, but only at or below the posted number. Driving too fast for conditions is the top reason for crashes of 16- and 17-year-old drivers, and you can get a ticket for it even when you are under the limit.
