Passing target: 83.3% (15/18)
You have just passed a bicyclist who rides straight ahead near the right edge of the road. You now want to turn right into a driveway a short distance ahead, and the bicyclist will reach it at about the same time. What should you do?
A is just ahead of bicyclist B on a two-lane road. B rides straight near the right edge while A plans to turn into the driveway ahead; the card says they will reach it at about the same time.
Correct answer: Slow down and let the bicyclist pass the driveway, then make your turn.
Why
Bicyclists are vehicle operators with the same right-of-way as other traffic. After you pass a rider, do not slow or stop suddenly in front of the bicycle. If you cannot pass with at least four feet of space and finish before your turn, stay behind the rider and turn after it.
