On a clear day, you drive on a rural Pennsylvania interstate. Most traffic around you moves at about 75 mph. Which statement about a speed of 75 mph is correct?
Correct answer: It is over the limit, because no Pennsylvania road may have a limit above 70 mph.
Why
On interstate highways, the maximum speed limit is posted after each interchange. On other highways, it is posted about every half mile. Outside cities and towns, the limit is 55 mph where no other limit is posted. Even below the posted limit, drive slower when rain, darkness or traffic make conditions less than ideal.
