Ana got her conditional license at age 15 years 7 months. Since then, she has had no traffic tickets and no at-fault crashes. When can she first have full driving privileges?
Correct answer: At age 16 years 7 months, one year after she got the license
Why
A clean year shows that the young driver can drive safely with fewer limits. A traffic offense or an at-fault crash moves the date back to one year after the last offense or crash, or to age 17. You do not go to an SCDMV branch: SCDMV mails you a sleeve for the license, and you must keep the license in it to use full privileges.
