Freeways & High-Speed RoadsStandalone practice
You drive on a road that crosses over an interstate at a cloverleaf interchange. You want to enter the interstate in the direction to your left. How do you make this turn?
An overview of a complete cloverleaf interchange. Blue A approaches on the elevated crossing road; the desired interstate direction is to its left.
Correct answer: Cross the overpass, then take the right-turn loop ramp just after it.
Why
A cloverleaf lets you change roads without crossing the path of other traffic. To turn right, take the ramp before the overpass; to turn left, take the loop ramp just after it. Watch for traffic that enters and leaves in the same short weaving section.
