Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
You drive on the right-hand roadway of a divided highway, with a wide median on your left. You pass a yellow diamond that shows two black lines on each side of an island shape, and the lines come together beyond the island. What should you prepare for?

Correct answer: Two-way traffic ahead, so the oncoming cars will pass just to your left
Why
Where a median ends, the two roadways join into one road with traffic in both directions. Stay on the right half of the road, and watch the center line markings. On a two-lane road, a pass now means using the lane of oncoming traffic, so pass only where it is allowed and the way is clear.
