Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
A raised median begins in the center of your two-way street. At its near end stands a white vertical sign with a black arrow that curves to the right around a small black shape. The driveway you want is on the left, a short way past the start of the median. What should you do?

Correct answer: Keep to the right of the median, and turn left only at a median opening or crossover
Why
This sign stands in front of islands and medians so that drivers stay on the right-hand roadway. Texas law requires you to drive on the right roadway of a divided road and to cross the median only at an opening, a crossover or an intersection. If you pass your turn, go on to a lawful place to turn around. Some divided highways have a sign that marks a crossover point.
