Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
Your destination is on the left side of the cross street. At the intersection, a white sign shows a black arrow that turns left, with a red circle and slash across it. Traffic is light. What should you do?

Correct answer: Do not turn left here; go straight or turn right and use another route
Why
Regulatory signs have the force of law, and Texas drivers must obey them like other traffic laws. When a sign bans a turn, plan another route, for example three right turns around a block, or a left turn at the next intersection that allows it. Light traffic does not change the rule.
