Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
You drive at 55 mph on a rural road. Ahead, a tractor pulls a hay wagon, and this orange triangle with a red border is on the back of the wagon. What does the emblem tell you?

Correct answer: The vehicle is built to go 25 mph or less, so you will close in on it fast
Why
The slow-moving vehicle emblem marks farm equipment, animal-drawn vehicles and other vehicles that are designed to go 25 mph or less. At highway speed you can reach such a vehicle in a few seconds, so slow down as soon as you see the emblem. Pass only where passing is legal and you can see far enough ahead, and watch for wide turns into fields and driveways.
