Warning, Construction & Information SignsStandalone practice
On a two-lane road, you pass a yellow diamond with a black arrow that bends back and forth several times. A slow pickup is ahead of you. What should you do?

Correct answer: Slow down, keep to the right, and stay behind the pickup through the curves
Why
Curves limit how far ahead you can see, so an oncoming vehicle can appear with little warning. Texas law requires a reduced speed on a narrow or winding road and around curves. Never use the left side of the road on a curve or hill where you cannot see far ahead. Wait until the road straightens and you can see that the left lane is clear for a safe distance.
