After a night of snow, you have a short drive to work. Snow covers the whole car. What must you clear before you drive?
A blue sedan is covered in overnight snow across its roof, windshield, rear and side windows, lamp lenses and wiper resting area. The car is stationary on a white background.
Correct answer: All the windows, the headlights, the taillights and the wipers, before you move
Why
Snow on the lights makes your car hard for others to see, and snow on the roof can slide onto the windshield when you brake. During a winter storm, drive only if the trip is necessary. Fill the washer reservoir with a freeze-resistant fluid, and keep an ice scraper and a snow brush in your winter kit.
