Passing target: 80% (40/50)
You arrive at the entry of a one-lane roundabout. A car that is already in the circle comes toward your entry from your left. What should you do?
Blue car A approaches a single-lane roundabout. Silver B is already in the circle near A's entry, coming from A's left. The entry has a yield sign.
Correct answer: Slow down or stop, and enter after the car in the circle has passed your entry
Why
Slow down as you come to a roundabout, look for pedestrians in the crosswalk, and yield to vehicles that are already in the circle. Enter when there is a safe gap, and drive counterclockwise, to the right of the center island. Since May 6, 2026, Utah law does not require a turn signal when you enter or exit a roundabout.
