You approach a roundabout and plan to leave it at the second exit. What does Utah law say about your turn signal?
Correct answer: No signal is required when you enter or when you exit the roundabout
Why
The 2026 law change (HB 128) removed the signal requirement for roundabouts, and the 2026-2027 handbook no longer tells drivers to signal before the exit. The other roundabout rules stay the same: slow down, yield to oncoming traffic and pedestrians, and enter only when it is clear.
