You want to pull into an angle parking space on your right. How should you approach it?
Two silver cars, B and C, occupy angled parking spaces beside a two-way street, leaving one empty space. The approaching driver's position, signal, path and clearance are not shown.
Correct answer: Signal, slow down, and stay at least 5 feet out from the parked cars.
Why
To enter an angle space on your right, signal, slow down, and stay about 5 feet out from the parked cars. Turn sharply right when the front of your car lines up with the space, pull in slowly to the middle, and straighten the wheels. Backing out is the harder part: back slowly, look behind you instead of relying on the mirror, and do not back across the center line.
