You back your car out of a driveway onto a quiet street. Your car has a backup camera. How should you back up?
A points into a driveway and is ready to back toward the quiet street. The card states a backup camera; there is no rear-window glance detail or reverse route in the question.
Correct answer: Turn and look through the rear window, back at a slow walking speed, and use the camera as an aid.
Why
It is hard to see behind a vehicle, so back up as little as you can. Wisconsin law allows backing only when you can do it with reasonable safety. Turn your body, look over your right shoulder through the rear window, and move slowly. When possible, ask a person outside the car to guide you. After you stop, look left and right before you drive into traffic.
