Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
On a two-lane road, a car starts to pass you on the left. Then you see a truck that comes toward you in the other lane. What should you do?
Silver car B passes blue car A while truck C approaches in the lane B uses.
Correct answer: Slow down so that the passing car can move back in ahead of you
Why
When another driver passes you, stay in your lane, keep to the right side of it and do not speed up. Watch the oncoming traffic and adjust your speed to help the other driver return to the right lane as soon as possible. A driver who misjudged the gap may have to cut back in quickly, so be ready to ease off the gas.
