Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
The traffic light is green, and no traffic comes toward you. You want to turn left. At the intersection, a white sign shows a black left-turn arrow inside a red circle with a red slash. What is true?

Correct answer: You cannot turn left here, so go straight or right and find another route.
Why
On a white sign, a red circle with a slash means NO for the thing that is shown inside it, for example no trucks, no U-turn or no parking. Look for these signs early, so that you can choose your lane and route before the intersection. If a sign stops your planned turn, drive on and use legal turns to get back to your route.
