Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
You pass a car on a two-lane road. When is it safe to move back into the right lane?
Blue car A passes silver car B in the opposing lane of a two-lane road.
Correct answer: When you can see both headlights of the passed car in your inside mirror
Why
Plan a pass so that you can finish it before any oncoming vehicle or no-passing zone. When you are safely clear of the car that you passed, signal right, move back and cancel the signal. Do not slow down after you pull back in, because that takes away the other driver's space cushion.
