Regulatory, Lane & Parking SignsStandalone practice
On a four-lane divided highway with a 70 mph limit, you drive at 62 mph in the left lane. Most traffic goes about 70 mph and passes you on the right. You pass a sign that reads SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT. You are not passing anyone and will not turn left soon. What should you do?

Correct answer: Move right when it is safe, since you are slower than the traffic
Why
Texas law requires a driver who moves more slowly than the normal traffic to use the right-hand lane, except to pass or to prepare for a left turn. Some Texas highways have a LEFT LANE FOR PASSING ONLY sign with the same purpose. When slow vehicles stay right, fewer drivers weave between lanes or pass on the right.
