Correct answer: B. The space is reserved for persons with disabilities.
Why
This is the Accessible Parking sign. It shows the blue International Symbol of Accessibility and marks a parking space reserved for persons with disabilities. Do not park there unless your vehicle has a valid disability plate or placard. If a VAN ACCESSIBLE plaque is below it, the space is wide enough for a wheelchair van. A green time-limit parking sign without this symbol is different: any driver may park there within its rules.
Why the other answers are not correct
- A. Hazard lights or a short stay do not let other drivers use a space that is reserved for persons with disabilities.
- C. The wheelchair symbol shows who the space is for; a work permit does not give the right to use it.
- D. Electric vehicle spaces have their own signs; this symbol reserves the space for persons with disabilities.
