Your car's turn signal lights stop working, and you need to turn right at the next corner. How do you give the right-turn signal by hand?
A blue car faces right on a neutral background. The card says its turn signals have failed and it needs a right turn. No arm or hand signal appears.
Correct answer: Extend your left arm out the window with the forearm and hand pointing up
Why
Give the signal continuously for at least the last two seconds before the turn, and use both hands to steer during the turn. Bicyclists use the same hand signals, and they may also signal a right turn with the right arm extended straight out. Have broken signal lights repaired as soon as possible.
