Passing target: 80% (40/50)
On a two-lane road, a car behind you moves into the oncoming lane to pass you. What should you do while it passes?
Blue A travels in the right lane of a two-way road. Silver B is behind A but has moved across the broken yellow center line into the oncoming lane to pass. Both cars face right.
Correct answer: Stay in your lane, keep to the right, and do not speed up until it has passed
Why
When another car passes you, help the driver finish quickly and safely. Keep a steady speed and a steady position in the right part of your lane. Watch for the passing car's return to your lane, and leave it room. Never try to block a pass by speeding up or moving toward the center line.
