Passing target: 80% (52/65)
At an intersection, two lanes are marked for left turns. You are in the right one of the two left-turn lanes. The street that you turn onto has three lanes in your direction. In which lane should you finish the turn?
Two approach lanes have painted left-turn arrows. Blue A is in the outer right lane and silver B is in the inner lane. Three westbound receiving lanes have plain straight separators.
Correct answer: The middle lane, second from the left
Why
When two lanes turn at the same time, each driver must keep a separate path, like two cars on curved rails. Follow any lane lines that are painted through the intersection. If you need another lane after the turn, signal and change lanes only after you are on the new street and it is safe.
