Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
Your car's turn signals stop working, and you need to turn right. How do you give a right-turn signal by hand?
Three numbered drawings show a driver's left arm extended horizontally, bent upward at the elbow, and bent downward.
Correct answer: Put your left arm out and bend it straight up at the elbow.
Why
Wyoming law allows turn and stop signals by hand and arm, given from the left side of the vehicle. Left arm straight out means a left turn, arm bent up means a right turn, and arm bent down means slow or stop. The 100-foot signal rule also applies to hand signals. Have broken signal lamps repaired soon.
