Turns, Lanes, Passing & MergingStandalone practice
You are driving on the Interstate and just passed your exit. The ramp is only a few hundred feet behind you. What should you do?
A has continued beyond an interstate exit ramp that branches off behind the car.
Correct answer: Drive on to the next exit and find your way back from there.
Why
On the Interstate, traffic moves at high speed and does not expect a car to stop, back up or turn around. Wyoming law forbids backing on the shoulder or roadway of a controlled-access highway, and drivers may enter or leave only at established ramps. Plan ahead: watch for exit signs early and move to the correct lane a mile or more before your exit.
