When sharing the road with large commercial trucks, you should be aware of their 'No-Zones'. What are No-Zones?
A long white tractor-trailer B and blue car A travel to the right on a two-lane carriageway. A is behind B. No blind-spot overlay is shown.
Correct answer: Blind spots around the truck.
Why
Large trucks have blind spots around the front, rear and sides. Avoid tailgating and lingering beside them. MTO’s mirror warning refers to seeing the driver’s face in a side-view mirror: if you cannot see that face, assume the driver cannot see you. Seeing a mirror housing alone, or even seeing the driver, does not prove that the driver has noticed you.
