Passing target: 80% (32/40)
Your car and another car bump in the center lane of a busy interstate. Both cars can still be driven, and no one is hurt. What should you do?
Blue A and silver B have bumped in the center of three interstate lanes. Both cars are drivable and no one is hurt.
Correct answer: Move both cars to the shoulder, then stay there to swap information and wait for police.
Why
The law requires every driver in a crash to stop at or near the scene without blocking traffic more than necessary. Moving drivable cars to the shoulder helps to prevent a second crash. If someone is badly hurt or killed, do not move the vehicles or disturb the scene, and call 911.
