On a wet curve, the rear of your car starts to slide to the right. How should you steer?
A is on a wet right-hand curve. A white arrow at the rear identifies the stated slide to the driver’s right. No steering correction is selected in the question.
Correct answer: Steer gently to the right, then turn back as the car straightens out.
Why
Skids happen when the tires lose their grip, most often because the driver is going too fast for the conditions. Until the car slows, braking only makes the skid worse, so steering is your main tool. Keep correcting left and right with small movements until the car moves straight under your control again.
